With over five years of expertise in strategic advisory and impact investing, Nate has made significant contributions to empowering small and growing businesses (SGBs) to scale sustainably. His journey reflects a dedication to unlocking potential and driving positive change.

Before joining us, Nate was with Goodwell Investments, where he played a pivotal role in structuring and executing venture debt transactions in East Africa. His focus on transformative sectors such as sustainable agriculture, waste management, renewable energy, and clean mobility has left a meaningful impact. Prior to that, at Open Capital Advisors, he worked closely with SGBs across Sub-Saharan Africa, enabling them to attract financing, strengthen their operations, and chart strategic growth paths, particularly in agriculture, renewable energy, and fintech.

A proud alumnus of the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor of Economics and Statistics, Nate is passionate about harnessing innovative financing solutions to create inclusive growth and lasting impact in emerging markets.
