Anthony Mahira

Investment Manager

Anthony is an Investment Associate at DOB Equity based in Nairobi. In his role, he is responsible for sourcing and structuring potential investments for DOB, as well as working closely with portfolio companies to support senior management in achieving their strategic, operational, and impact objectives.

Prior to joining DOB, Anthony gained extensive experience serving both private and public sector clients across East and West Africa. As a Senior Project Leader at Open Capital, he helped clients design strategies and achieve outcomes through world-class implementation. He also worked with the Africa Foresight Group, where he provided valuable insights to leading African companies, investment funds, and development agencies.

Anthony began his career in the consumer goods industry and has always been drawn to the idea of investing in companies that generate both financial returns and positive impact. His passion for impact investing led him to pursue a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School, which he obtained after completing his Bachelor of Commerce from Strathmore University.
